Director Barrie Kosky’s 2016 cult-production manages to capture the spirit of the enigmatic gypsy Carmen, returning to the way it was performed at the world premiere in 1875 at the Opéra-comique in Paris. Mr. Moore appears as the smuggler known as Le Remendado alongside Zanda Švēde in the titular role and Evan LeRoy Johnson as the explosive Don José.

Werther, a law student, suffers under social restraints and longs to be free. No human relationship can hold him back until he meets Charlotte, who's already engaged to be married. Mr. Moore appears as Schmidt in Massenet's version of the Goethe classic. Tenor Gerard Schneider sings the title role and mezzo-soprano Gaëlle Arquez appears as his beloved Charlotte. The events in Poulenc’s opera are based on historical facts: In 1794 the Carmelites of Compiègne became martyrs, singing "Veni creator" as they calmly went to the guillotine, one after the other. Mr. Moore appears as the Chaplain in Poulenc's operatic retelling of this story of faith and martyrdom alongside Maria Bengtsson as the timid Blanche. Directed by Claus Guth, conducted by Giedrė Šlekytė.
